This is a completely aesthetic choice, another is to use old movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory art and Twister art, or really fancy 7's.

This is a simple idea that we replace the art in slot machines with the artwork of the masters, college art students, elementary school students...the works.
Let's democratize the design of slot machines. 
If the mechanics of the # of reels and the denominative values of each image stay the same, having different art should not affect gameplay.

Wouldn't it be cool to win the JACKPOT by having all reels aling to show a perfect Mona Lisa, or The Scream?
