You should like art, like paintings.  It makes people happy and gives them purpose.  You shouldn't be sad that your phone can take a better picture than you will ever paint, so long as your goal wasn't to perfectly represent the image of the thing and instead hoped to convey some emotion.

It reminds me of the cowboy from THE FAR SIDE comics, but it was from the 1890's.
